No other drink is as distinctly Brazilian as the caipirinha (kai-pi-reen-ya). The smoky cachaca blends perfectly with sweet sugar and tangy lime. Grab a caipirinha, pop on some samba, fire up the BBQ and you could be in Brazil.
1. Cut a lime into 8 wedges and add 4 to a rocks glass.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
3. Muddle the limes and sugar together for about 15 seconds until it is nice and juicy.
4. Fill the glass with ice.
5. Add 2 shots of cachaca.
6. Stir and enjoy.
