The most beautiful beaches in Thailand

Thailand is an absolutely incredible country and is definitely worth a visit. There are beautiful temples to visit, adventures to be had and thousands of years of culture to soak up. There is so much to do, but every time I go there, it is the beaches that steal my heart. The draw of the water and sand is just too much for me. These beaches are really one of the main reasons that I keep coming back to Thailand.

In no particular order…

Phi Phi Island

This little island off the west coast of Thailand is pretty much as close to earthly paradise as you can possibly get. There are very few people on the beach and the warm water will definitely cure what ails you.

Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan is located in the Gulf of Thailand and is most wide known for its world famous full moon parties. If you venture further afield, you will find some of the most beautiful beaches, which you could have almost entirely to yourself. The northeast corner of the island is particularly serene.

Karon Beach, Phuket

Phuket is a popular destination for holiday makers, but the main beach of Patong leaves a little to be desired. Head just a little south and you will encounter beautiful Karon Beach. There are a few little restaurants dotted on the fringes of the beach, but it is definitely out of the hustle and bustle.

There are thousands of other absolutely beautiful beaches in Thailand that could also be included in this list. Every time I go back, I add another amazing beach to my list. It could take a lifetime to explore them all.
